    The build begins

When I did my motor I think I used the list from one of the kits Edge sells as a cheat to figure out everything I needed. I then found the cheapest Mazda dealer online and ordered everything.

    Accessport V3 parameter monitoring

No, there are no PIDs available for those parameters. You have to install dedicated gauges for oil temp/pressure, usually utilizing a sandwich plate on the oil filter housing.

    WOT stumble

Well my MAF is nice and oily. I noticed I was getting some blow by coming from the valve cover breather into the intake a couple months ago. I cleaned the MAF and the intake at that point and haven't had any issues. Well the MAF and intake have oil contamination again. I guess I'll re route...

    WOT stumble

Awa I did have a boost leak and it was recently fixed, It was pretty obvious from fuel cut, if there is a smaller one causing this Id have to check other couplers. Enki the HPFP as well as the internals and PRV have been replaced since my tune was finalized.

Thanks Enki, I'm down to read a book if I can learn something and fix this!

    WOT stumble

2013 Mazdaspeed 3 158000 Chicago IL Occasional stumble/breakup at WOT Built motor. BNR S3. PD tuned and all supporting mods New OEM coil packs within the past 1000 miles. So I have had a cylinder 1 misfire code twice now, plugs only have about 2500 miles on them so I decided lets just replace...

    O2 sensor codes

To echo what Awa said, I highly doubt it's dirty valves causing your poor compression results. It's either an inaccurate compression tester or you have some serious wear issues with that motor. As we both mentioned you NEED to get an accurate leakdown test performed to determine the health of...

    O2 sensor codes

Depends what a shop will charge and if you have one you trust. A decent leak down testor will cost at least $100 if not more. Also a leak down test can be tricky and if everything isn't sitting just right you can get some inaccurate results. As far as compression the one you have may be fine...

    O2 sensor codes

So your compression numbers are NOT good at all. I believe the factory service manual specs 130 psi as the lowest acceptable value. That being said your results are well below that which is indicative of your motor being toast. I would get a known good compression test and get a leakdown test...

    O2 sensor codes

I can confirm NTK is the OEM manufacturer and they work as expected. Both of my O2s have been replaced with NTK units.

    Long term ft

You should post this in the troubleshooting section. Your LTFT at idle is indicating a leak somewhere past your MAF. What are your STFTs?

    Long term ft

Did you get a tune when you did this or did you just toss it on the car and hope for the best? You need a MAF CAL to run a larger intake.

    Anyone Running Ford RS Calipers?

So I started down this rabbit hole a while back in search of a 4 piston caliper (OEM spec Brembo) that would work on the Speed. With the goal of creating something cheaper than just getting a Brembo or Stop Tech kit I gave up and just ordered the CorkSport calipers to run on the OEM rotors and...

    2009 Misfire cylinder 2

OP if you are still wanting to buy an exhaust manifold I've got a brand new CorkSport one in a box that I'm going to be posting up in the Classifieds. It will be a much better deal and it's a better mani than the Graveyard one. You'll need to become a metal member though.

    Engine build foundation

OP there is a member on the Mazdaspeed3 sub reddit with a user name of "BulletDust". He's not super active there but if you search his content you'll find some posts he made addressing this. I think he is in Australia or something but he says he was a Mazda master tech for 20 ish years. He...

    Engine build foundation

You throw out an 800 HP number and mention the 2.5 block in the same sentence. To me this thought process doesn't add up. You've been doing research and you've probably seen the same thing on power capability of the 2.5 motor. From the little I've read on the topic the consensus is the same as...

    2009 Misfire cylinder 2

I'm just curious about your method of determining your injectors are still good. The car has 161,000 miles on it from what you posted. Are the injectors in there original with 161,000 miles on them? Edit: Best of luck with Graveyard!

Xspeedfab Timing kit w/ no camshaft washers

I mean if you are willing to gamble your motor with what xspeedfab claims then send it! Personally I wouldn't though, Awa and L337 have already mentioned the correct path here.

    2009 Misfire cylinder 2

What exactly is going on with your compression numbers? You stated they are all 140 psi plus but then you give much lower numbers (105 psi range) for each cylinder? Min compression per the FSM is 130 psi.
