Same logging speed. Fewer calibrations, so less effort to implement

    Logging Speed etc

It's in the pipeline. It's a ton of work because it's custom assembly code that has to be hand coded for each calibration. On MS6, it's not a bid deal, but MS3 and newer platforms have lots of different calibrations.

Introducing VersaTuner Lite, VersaTuner Free, and OBDLink SX support

That is correct. You can upgrade to full version later if you choose. The upgrade is $150 for the first 30 days after purchasing VT Lite, and $179 after that. So, you get 30 days to try it and decide if you want to upgrade at the same price as buying VT full version.

Introducing VersaTuner Lite, VersaTuner Free, and OBDLink SX support

First some history. When we started VersaTune 10 years ago, there was only one tuning solution for Mazdaspeed6. It cost over $700. We felt that was too much. So, we started VersaTune and launched VersaTuner at $399 plus the cost of a Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 J2534 pass-thru cable which cost...

    VersaTuner Feature Update

For those who have not checked out VersaTuner lately, here are some links to the features and list of included tunes. We are actively developing VersaTuner for Mazdaspeed 3/6, and with our new in-house dyno, we are adding new tunes to the included off-the-shelf tunes list. Features and...

    VersaTune with PI

We use the stock ECU fuel cut rev limiter. There is no way for the ECU to tell the port injection to stop injecting.

    VVT and Big Turbos

We exposed additional rev limit constants to allow revving beyond 8k. See here: https://mazdaspeeds.org/index.php?threads/734-awhp-and-9000-rpm-mazdaspeed6-dragcar.6542/page-3#post-63614 None of my cars have valvetrain to handle > 8k, so I can't test it. If anyone with the appropriate hardware...

    VVT and Big Turbos

The max values are arbitrary. At the time we did not know the max range, so we went with the max value in the stock table. If you have definitive data about the max safe range, we can update the max value limit. In the mean time, you can enable "unsafe" values and set the VVT values as you...

    734 AWHP and 9000 RPM Mazdaspeed6 Dragcar

VT has additional rev limit constants exposed.

Using what tuning solution to raise the rev limiter?

    734 AWHP and 9000 RPM Mazdaspeed6 Dragcar

Farhan tried using VT, but had issues over 8k. If anyone else wants to test, I am happy to work with you. I believe that all the software based rpm limits are exposed in VT. My remaining question is at what point does the ECU no longer have enough processing power to keep up and fire the...

    734 AWHP and 9000 RPM Mazdaspeed6 Dragcar

Not entirely untested territory for VT. Teo used VersaTuner to get 803whp from is AWD Mazd3 MPS. He launched at 8000 rpm.

    davychronic's build

I think DISI is 50 pids/sec. My MS6 is alive again, so expect to see more DISI love soon.

    davychronic's build

Logging speed is limited by the OEM ECU code. We need to rewrite the oem logging code and ours to make it faster. It's not a trivial task. Newer ECUs like ND Miata log 4x faster then Gen 1 DISI.
