VersaTune with PI

I remember seeing in a thread the other day that the VT LC and FFS is the same as Cobb's, but I can't remember if the comment was recent or not.

Question arose through the course of discussion today: when running PI and using an AccessPort, it is known that a wotbox is required in order to safely use launch control and flat foot shifting. Is this also the case with VT or would it be safe to use the program's lc/ffs function without implementing a wotbox? @steve@versatune @JohnnyTightlips
We use the stock ECU fuel cut rev limiter. There is no way for the ECU to tell the port injection to stop injecting.

Got it. We were assuming it's still fuel cut in VT but weren't 100% sure. Thanks for the confirmation! I'll plan to add a wotbox to my PI build.
