How many miles on your MS3

@Benny71, at what mileage were you fully bolted (i.e. with the CST4)? Sorry to hear about the issues you were having @Raider...your repairs remind of my experience with my BMW 330i before I sold it and bought the speed 3. I lost about $14,000 CDN in just two years of driving it. Ridiculous...

How many miles on your MS3

@Raider, Why did you have to retire it from being your daily driver? No shame in getting the work done by a tech if you don't have time. There's lot of stuff I can't or just won't do...though now that I finally have a garage, I'm getting more courage/motivation to do more of the work.

How many miles on your MS3

@Benny71, 242,000 miles and on the original motor?!? That's awesome man...gives me hope for many more miles. Does your car consume any oil? I have a stupid question...when people say fully bolted, what does that typically entail? Intake, intercooler, downpipe and turbo (with all of the...

    Ebay Parts

@Awafrican, shameless thread bump, but it would have been a fantastic idea for Autotech to ship their internals with a small sticker that you could apply to the outside of the fuel pump to let future owners know they were installed, lol. I wonder how many fuel pumps have been upgraded more than...

How many miles on your MS3

I searched for a similar style thread here, but could not find one. (@Raider, feel free to delete this thread if there is already a similar one). Pretty simple thread and is just for fun: 1) What year is your MS3? 2) How many miles is on your car? 3) Are you on the original motor, rebuilt, or...

What did you do to your ride today

Today I flashed my E30 tune from Stratified and took a datalog. Look to have netted about 30 whp and 26 lb-ft of torque on the k04. Not bad for a flash tune and the car feels great with no KR at WOT. The car feels great. My e85 station is actually selling e85, which is awesome. Stocked up...

Importance of Accuracy in e85 Mixes

I'm officially cornfed! I loaded my e30 map tune, tested my e85 station (which is actually e85!), loaded about 4 gallons in the tank and topped it off with 91 octane. Looks like a peak gain of about 30 whp and 26 lb-ft of torque with SAE corrections! I'm sure I could get more with a datalog...

    Rang-a-stang's GenWon

Looks like things are coming along well! Have you done a lot of work on cars or mechanical things before? I always tend to stress myself out before tackling a job on my car...I think I've psyched myself out of doing the downpipe unless I absolutely need to. Right now I think I've resolved to...

    Rang-a-stang's GenWon

I haven't yet fully decided on what I want to do with the OCC yet. I need to talk to some fellow Canadians (@Awafrican) on these boards to find out if they've had issues running them. Im just a bit hesitant with it because I know the damage they can also cause if they go wrong. I know it's a...
