I unplugged mine for over 10k miles. Just finished with actual delete and plug. I can’t speak to those effects as car isn’t back up and running yet. The only ‘issues’ I noticed when I ran with it unplugged was the CEL and lower mpg. Probably 1-2 fewer mpg. Oh probably also a bit dirtier...

Ended up using this tool to suck the B-12 out of the ports before cleaning. It was not 100% efficient but got the majority of it to see my vac. Also due to the carbon chunks it ended up being a sacrificial tool. At $7 I didn’t mind but still hate to waste tools...
