    I Can Haz Evo???

Reloomed the battery harness earlier today. Should be getting to more of the wiring in the engine bay tomorrow and thursday since it's supposed to be a scorching 55F outside. Woven tape FTW

    72mm Throttle Body...and it works

Should offer pretty decent top end gains. Drivability shouldn't be too bad either. I'm hard pressed to believe this will work flawlessly without the tune being changed. It has 44% more area than the stock throttle body so low throttle inputs will require fine tuning.

    David's NATOR AL speed6 build

Just have the tube rewelded by someone who knows how to actually weld. My old car went through two of those tubes. Both cracked and fell apart at that same weld because Kozmic doesn't know how to use enough filler rod. I had it rewelded by a friend and never had an issue again.

    I Can Haz Evo???

Managed to get the last set of these sexy tophats and after seeing them all I can say is wow. These plates add caster I'm really into mods that improve driver connection/feel so I'm excited to get these guys on the car and see how the car feels with more caster.

    I Can Haz Evo???

About 5 pounds of wire out so far by rough estimation. Easily over 150 feet of wire. It's pretty much a never ending cycle of finding wires that aren't being used anymore, pulling them out back to their source and cutting. A bit over 10 hours in so far, time to pick up a depinning tool kit as...

    I Can Haz Evo???

Still chipping away at projects. Got the battery tray widened to fit my small battery. It's an STM tray, made for a PC680 battery, I use a Enersys 16EP battery which is shorter and a tad wider. Threw the tray in the bridgeport at work and went to town (forgot to take photos, was too focused on...

Post S3 install thread because KiwiFail

It'll still boogie on stock valvetrain and you'll be good to wind it out to 7500. Just be sure that all valve springs are still within spec. I've got a few sets laying around, if you need any just lemme know and they're yours for whatever shipping costs.

IIRC the ECU sends a 12V signal to the injector driver which outputs 90-100V to the injectors. The MS3 ECU doesn't have a standalone injector driver and it directly outputs the 90-100V.

Lol fuck value, I wish they'd be cheaper. I was just thinking earlier today how I wish I had a second for a winter beater/rallycross car. Maybe one day I'll buy another 6.

That PCV setup you've got now should be perfectly fine as is. If you don't want to pull a vacuum with the intake you could put a slashcut in the exhaust. I did one on my first 6, worked great. The evo is awesome. It's been put away for the winter as of a month ago. I have a thread here for it...

Seriously, a good PCV setup makes all the difference. Having fuel spraying over the valves is only needed pretty minimally to keep them clean. I'd be surprised if the injectors even did anything at 1% DC. Keep it simple, you'll thank yourself in the long run. AEM does make a 5 bar pressure...

You're more likely than not going to have a tough time getting things to be smooth spraying that low. If cleaning is your major concern, it'll do enough cleaning when you're WOT. Actually it'll clean better at WOT because charge velocities will be higher. A good PCV system that doesn't pull...

    David's NATOR AL speed6 build

Two things I would change. 1: Don't bother keying the crank if your goal is only 500, the friction washers can hold 500whp all day every day as long as the factory service manual procedure is followed, plus you'll save a good chunk of change. 2: Get some proper head studs, those stock screw will...

Check out my old build thread for using a second in tank pump. It's pretty easy on a 6. My setup was a return style, can't remember how much it cost but it wasn't expensive. You can run a return style FPR from Fuelab that's cheaper than the Aeromotive but the cost becomes a wash when you run the...

    I Can Haz Evo???

Got a few more hours put in on the wiring. Slowly making progress. Probably about 70 feet of wire pulled out so far. I'm honestly really excited about how much cleaner the interior of the car is going to be. It drives my OCD insane seeing loose connectors are aren't plugged in. So in other...

    I Can Haz Evo???

Drew up some offset front LCA bushings. The Whiteline ones only gain 0.5° of caster and that's not enough IMO. I'm hoping to pick up around 1.5° with this guy. Still need to finalize some measurements, I've never made any press fit parts before so if anyone has any recommendations on how much...
