My stock horn is so high pitched, it sounds like your brakes are squeaking. My buddy has some junk semi's. I'm going to check out the electric "City horns" on them. They should swap in easy and give that low and loud blast I want.

If you don't have foglights, you may have a blind socket built into the back of the blank out panel. My Cx-7 has the socket on each side.

Major Noob quetions, If a programmer is used will it need to stay plugged it when ever the vehicle is driven or does it alter the ECM/OBDII, etc permanently? Will I need to reprogram if the battery dies or is disconnected?

So there is no way to trick the ECM without a tune and the Versatuner? I was thinking something more like this.

If you don't have a Accessport and you remove the EGR, could you solder a resistor or some thing to trick the CEL light. into staying off?
