Rotors were at 12 mm and glazed. Pads were 2/3rds worn. Slide pins were dry. God knows how long these have been glazed.

I understand the 2 designs and have repacked both inner and outer joints on various occasions on various cars. I assumed it was slip fit onto the intermediate shaft....I guess its not...why there needs to be any play there makes no sense to me.
