How many miles on your back brakes?

Me thinks you're right.

Does Mazda sell new seals for the calipers?

Rotors were at 12 mm and glazed. Pads were 2/3rds worn. Slide pins were dry. God knows how long these have been glazed.

Yeah brake job miles wise is good. Consider the brass brake caliper bushings from Damond Motorsports. Amazing!

I would say the Damond kit makes for more responsive braking. When you hit the brakes it has a slightly firmer pedal. Combine those F/R with new steel braided hoses and you'll notice a big improvement. Especially with the right pad/rotor combo.
