Welp, I totally touched it per instructions here.

Oh, nonono. I did a O-Ring rebuild as well as replaced the HPFP internals. They sent a rebuild kit for free with the HPFP internals. If I were just doing the HPFP internals, I wouldn't have touched anything else. https://corksport.com/mazdaspeed-e85-safe-hpfp-o-ring-rebuild-kit.html

2006 Mazdaspeed 6 bogging at boost

Alright, I got a chance to speak with someone from Corksport. After taking a look at my symptoms, they deduced that I probably messed up the rebuild of my pump, and they were correct. I had another good stock pump here, and swapped it in to my vehicle, which ran properly. They suggested that I...

2006 Mazdaspeed 6 bogging at boost

That's correct. It seemed like a perfect fit. No hitching or binding in and out. After disassembly, there appears to be some wear on the piston in the photos, but that seems to be cosmetic, and may just be a reaction with lubrication or cleaning chemicals and the piston's anodized finish. I...

2006 Mazdaspeed 6 bogging at boost

First: I fixed it. I replaced the whole HPFP with an old stock one that I had, and seems to have done the trick. I am unsure as to what is wrong with the corksport HPFP I tore apart and upgraded, but I am going to find out. datalog47.csv is idling up to temperature after installing the old...

Naw, no fuel smell. Further, if it were a leak, I don't think fuel pressure could vacillate between 1600 PSI and 70PSI. It would probably be at 70psi the whole time. It read 1600psi whe cold, but fell to 70psi under WOT. Then it would come back to 400 -500 pai at idle again.

2006 Mazdaspeed 6 bogging at boost

Oh, well that makes sense. I wasn't sure how the fuel pressure would continue to ruse while the engine was off. Alright, well I've got a stock HPFP I am going to install. It's a different HPFP housing, so I'll not even be disassembling it. Going to see if the corksport was screwed up or I...

2006 Mazdaspeed 6 bogging at boost

Alright. I have replaced the PRV with a used one from another vehicle. I have disassembled and cleaned the HPFP. After starting and idling (Datalog43.csv) everything seemed relatively normal. There was a hitch in the idle a little bit (sounded like it was searching for a good idle point). I am...

Well hey, thanks for your help. I'll report back with new logs after I replace the PRV

Thanks for the ultra quick response! The needle in the spill valve can be pressed in with the tip of my finger with no resistance. The button valve as well feels springy with no catching/hitching.

2006 Mazdaspeed 6 bogging at boost

Alright, I opened up the HPFP. There was no gunk to clean. It's basically brand new. I haven't put even 100 miles on the car since I installed the Corksport HPFP. I guess I'll be replacing the PRV next to see if that fixes the issue. If not that, I'll replace the spill valve. I have a whole used...

Well alright. I'll pull it tomorrow and see what's going on. Edit: to be clear, the red line product you referred to is this stuff, right? https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/c/red-line-synthetic-oil/red-line-fuel-system-cleaner/rl00/60103

2006 Mazdaspeed 6 bogging at boost

The car actually feels pretty good until it warms up, though there's a bit of a stumble still. It seems to idle and respond to accelerator inputs alright until it warms up, and then things get weird. In one of the logs, the engine RPM would momentarily dip to 400 RPM, and then it would catch...

2006 Mazdaspeed 6 bogging at boost

D'oh. Check the photo again. I attached after posting. I did a full disassembly and cleaned everything less than 100 miles ago on the HPFP. Corksport was kind enough to include an E85 conversion/rebuild gasket kit for free with the HPFP kit, so I just cleaned it with carb/choke cleaner and...

2006 Mazdaspeed 6 bogging at boost

I used engine oil. Liqui Moly 5W-30 to be specific. On the plus side, I have a whole second fuel rail from a failed engine. Is the red circled part the PRV?

2006 Mazdaspeed 6 bogging at boost

Hey thanks! I just installed a Corksport HPFP in July, and the vehicle was behaving semi-normally before this issue developed. Out of curiosity, in the CSV I uploaded, which figure are you seeing that is concerning? I am presuming "HPFP Act. Press" (Not sure what "Act." means. Actual?) should...

2006 Mazdaspeed 6 bogging at boost

To my knowledge, yes. All the MAFs I have tried (I have three from used vehicles, including my original) are from Mazdaspeeds. Printed on the top is the following: L3K9 197400-2240 It's got the same inscription as the original MAF I had when the vehicle ran properly. I'm attaching three .CSV...

Thank you both for the responses. The car is at my friend's place, and I'll be able to get my hands on it later next week. I'll definitely get the logs pulled. Any recommendations on what I should be logging? I have no experience with Accessport, and I seem to remember that only so many things...

Can someone tell me what's going on with my Accessport?

Hey all. 2006 Mazdaspeed 6. I tend to drive it as a Winter beater in Michigan, but a friend of mine had his car take a dump, and needed something to get around with, so I loaned him my Mazdaspeed. It sits around without a battery in it until Winter, so I had some normal unboxing pains to deal...
