Year/Make/Model: 2008 Speed 3
Mileage: 230k, Engine is under 200k miles.
Location: Pennsylvania
Concern: Light rattle can be heard from the engine when you get in the throttle sometimes. Also if you get heavy on the throttle it cuts power off almost like it’s a limiter. Checked my logs and knock retard was up to around 7 at one second. I’m pretty sure the rattle is the injector seals and I’m wondering if that would set the knock sensor off causing the reading?

Modifications: Injen CAI
ECU/Tuning Software: Cobb AP V3
Tuner: COBB OTS 93 tune
Is the concern intermittent? Yes
Can you duplicate the concern? Yes
Recent Repairs: Recently did a oil change and whole VVT/Timing chain replacement.
Correction:
Here is a clip of it doing the rattle under throttle. Let me know what you think it is, and if that could be the cause of the power cut and the knock retard reading. It’s not cutting power completely it’s more of like a limiting type of cut.
