Hello everyone wanted some insight on what you guy may think is going on, my s4 has been smoking on decel after installing a jmf & xs manifold I have a vented oil cap with a damond pcv plate and and a duel catch can set up running at vta with the appropriate check valves also have a 4an oil feed to a opr for the turbo oil supply line. I have all this to help the s4 with over oil consumption issues and well as crank case yet I still get smoking and I even snagged some pictures of the CHRA from the outside and notice that the exhaust side of the turbo is leaking oil. One picture was taken before a drive (dry) the other was after a drive (wet) Would this be from a warn out turbo seal? Has anyone else had this happen to them if so leave a comment with some insight at this point might just send turbo in to get rebuilt or wait for the next version to be released in August.

What oil return line are you using?
-Aftermarket, check for kinks/clogs?
-OE, check if clogged.

It seems liked the turbo is being over-oiled if its bleeding out from the CHRA or you just have bad seals. Are you running less oil pressure with the oil feed OPR?

The issue ended up being the turbo seals were shot and also excessive blow by from rings caused oil not to drain down into the pan from the return line
new BNR S4 V5 with a OPR helped solve this issue
