BNR S4 v2

Hmm. Not sure yet. Ill keep you updated since I follow his page on Facebook. Just happy that it's the same price as the V1, I'm hoping that edgeauto has another tax season sale this year so I could save me some monies
I see the V2 was released, did they comment on when we can buy the compressor housing?

I heard that it might take a few weeks when the V2 was officially unveiled. Least that was what Bryan said when someone asked about buying the housing.

Well I noticed RPM sells the v2 now so I'm assuming it's officially unveiled haha. Did he mention where we can buy them?

I sent another email and didn't get a reply and called and no one picked up haha. lol think you can message him and find out where we can purchase the housing once available?

I saw on the book of faces, that he would sell the housings in a couple of months. Time to allow for a little headroom to be avalible.

We carry the V2. Can't keep them in stock though due to crazy demand right now. Our shipments are selling out before they get here most of the time...

Finally got ahold of Bryan. They're going to cost around $250 for the updated housing they should be available in a couple months and we can purchase them directly from him. I hope I don't need a Facebook to do that.

Got mine yesterday. Install planned for next week. It`s purty.

To all those who have the BNR S4 V1: (this was my email to Bryan)
Hello Brian,

I bought a BNR S4 for my MS6 this summer. I had to pause tuning due to the winter weather here in Canada and I was just reading on the mazda speed forum that there is a new revision coming out.

I wanted to know the impact of this change. I would have held out longer if I knew something was going to be updated on the S4 to make it perform better. Is there any way to update my current BNR S4 to have a capabilities of the new one coming out?

Cheers,
Patrick

Hey Pat.

No performance gains for the revision. I casted the extension and did antisurge port. It'll have a 3.5" inlet. Since I will be able to put these together these benefit me more than it does you. Saves me a lot of time and you get a better quality product. Might be a noise increase but shouldn't be worth swapping for.

^^^ Even though I have the v2, I understood that to be the case. The big inlet looks cool, but it`s really just for the anti surge function. As for the sound, it`s still not loud. Sounds like a ground loop in the audio system LOL.

Yeah, the S3 is sort of the same way. If anything, just the pitch will change as it spins faster while making more boost. Volume doesn't really increase so much, in my experience.

Hmmm I thought mine was very loud... v1 too. Well compared to the stocker it's crazy loud.
