Fyi, I've got a manifold with a working vtcs for sale in the for sale section.

If you're going that route just pnp the intake and that will include removing the vtcs. Relentless Customs does it for the Speed community.

There is some daily driveability that may to be affected and emissions concerns - do your research.
If you do not see anything obvious, then you may try to swap that black control box that sits on the top of IM.
Many people have them laying around from deleting VTCS and will sell for just a shipping cost - this is how I got my replacement.

Where do you connect for boost leak test? What do you use as air source and what pressure were you able to build during test?
Compression/leak tests?
What map do you run?

On second look, I'd put my money on what looks like disconnected wastegate.. WTF??!!
