Buying used high flow pump internals

Want to buy hfpf right now. Can get brand new for 315, or a used pump with internals that have 500 miles for 350. The seller is a reputable salvage yard but I'm leery buying used internals.

I like the pump assy since I don't have a vice and just bolt it in. What are people's opinions of used internals? Bad decision? My concern is the truth of this having 500 miles

Shouldn't be an issue as long as they can prove they're upgraded and in good condition. I bought my autotechs used with 40k miles and I've personally put another 200k+ on them.

Thanks for the info. I may get a new kit and take it to my uncle's and use his vice. Wondering if I will be able to get the nut off without a vice.

You can get the nut off without a vice if you're strong enough. Put it in a towel to avoid marring hold it down on the floor and crack it loose

Are you saying you would but the whole assembly without seeing the internals? Nope nope nope. Need to see those fuckers before you spend money on them. Could be stock could be fucked
