Can normal Mazda6 rear bumper and trunk fit MPS

I was hoping my first winter with the MPS was gonna be different, but alas I hit an ice patch just outside town and get the car spinning, hitting a tree backwards. I was fine and got the car out of the woods and drove it home.

I think the bumper and trunk door are beyond repair, and in getting new is where I need some help from you guys:

Can we get rear bumper from regular Mazda 6 and trunks to fit? I already lost the plastic covers that go around the exhaust tips, so theyre both just hanging back there. If anyone has tried and knows whether the bumper can just clip back there, Id really appreaciate it.

I had a regular Mazda 6 rear bumper cover on my MS6. It was basically the same in terms of attach points. I got a proper MS6 one a while back. I’m guessing the trunk itself is similar enough but I wouldn’t know for sure.

The trunk would be easy enough to check part numbers. If it is actually different I would expect it's solely related to the spoiler mounting

Does it match the curve of the rear fenders, or does it look tucked in?

As for the spoiler, yeah... the trunk will be without the spoiler mounts and the rear bumber without the 2 plastic exhaust tips. I guess I'll have to live without them.

You wouldn’t necessarily know it didn’t come with the car unless you knew what the correct MS6 bumper cover looks like. The edges line up perfectly.

Not sure about the bumper, the trunks are the same physically and dimensionally, however the latch and locking is different. The regular mazda6 trunk will not have the right fitment for the mazdaspeed6's trunk's lock and hatch without drilling.

Yo, ik this thread is old but my speed 6 trunk has got some nasty rust and im looking to replace it but in canada it hard to find speed 6 trunks. When your talking about the lock and hatch, youre talking about the actual mechanism that holds the trunk in place??
