Car locking issue

I have a mazdaspeed 3 2007 and I can't lock the car from the key I can only do it from the inside also this happened after I burned the ecu so I think my key needs programming

Umm what? You burned your ecu so the key needs programming? No kidding there's an issue.

As bunny said More likely your body control module needs a reflash or replacement either way, trip to the dealership is in your future only folks doing that stuff.

You can replace the bcm yourself and save $700 in labor but you still need them to flash

2 wires touched and kaboom car shit down while I was racing a civic si and it also burnt the coil packs excuse harness was rubbing against a coupler on the intake and I did got my keys programmed

Yes before that you had to unlock it with a key and then you would open other doors
