Car running rich but no CEL lights help

So I just purchased this car its a 2012 with 111k on it it has a cat back exhaust and cork sport intake but stock otherwise. The car seems to be running rich no breakups under partial throttle or WOT but when up shifting and downshift its backfiring mainly on partial throttle shifts. The car also has a tone of black sut all over the exhaust tips and rear bumper indicating the car is black smoking. So its not throwing any CEL so my question is where to begin looking to resolve the rich issue I don't have a handheld to monitor AF 's so at the moment I'm flying a little blind. I also have no idea if any maintenance has been done of any of the fuel system. Any help would be great.
 
Do a boost leak test, check the plugs, buy an accessport and find out what the car is up to. Black soot on the exhaust is the normal operation for these cars. When you say its backfiring, is it a loud pop or what?
 
Just put new spark plugs in it I put ngk stock plug gapped to .030 on up and down shifts its a loud pop like a gun shot. This is my second gen 2 and my last car had same exhaust never popped on shifts and didn't black smoke like this car is doing.
 
So I had a buddy follow behind me today and apparently she is just poring black smoke out the back he said it was dropping black suit onto the road and it smelled terrible. I know the car is running super rich what are the most common reasons could it be hpfp seals or injector seals just need a starting point on what to look for.
 
How do you know the car is running super rich. You need a way to monitor the stft and ltft
 
Well I I discovered that I have a blown turbo the car went through 3 quarts of oil and I only drove it 100 miles. I did a compression test and all 4 cylinders were good right at 160 psi. I guess the way the oil is burned coming from the turbo it results in black smoke with these cars. Still unsure if its running rich once I get a access port Ill report back.
