Clutch sticking but engages

Hi, im new here. not finding much help on the internet, its like 100 degrees out, which means i havent crawled under it yet.... so i figured it was time to sign up.

I have a 2007 mazdaspeed3. 110k miles.
Anyway, i was driving earlier, in town, casual. light turns green, i push the clutch, it engages but wont come back up. i drove it home without the clutch but i need ideas where to start.
Fluid? Spring? halp please

welcome to mso, I'd check brake fluid levels and try a bleed. keep in mind the brake fluid is a dual resovior with the clutch being in the back and it only fills it up when the fluid is at the full line so you need to overfill it to top off the clutch
