Cobb AP Rumors

Hello everyone! Quick question I keep hearing rumbles that Cobb isn't doing OTS tunes anymore? But after a little research it seems as those it's just for those trying to "bypass emission components". I don't plan on modding mine significantly for some time. Just wanna fix the common problems like HPFP and timing chain stuff. Is the Cobb my best bet until I start getting crazy? Confused and don't wanna waste the money for no reason.

the changes to cobb just means that tuners no longer can disable emissions systems and error codes, so what this means is if you delete your EGR the CEL will show on your dash and the tuner cannot disable it. depending on where you lived you could have one not ready as long as no codes were on your dash for emissions so this change would suck if you need to pass the checks.

however cobb OTS maps for this platform are GARBAGE do not run them! if you're looking to lightly mod your best bet is an ots+ map from freektune using the accessport before you go ham on mods and get a full tune.

really if you're starting on timing chain and HPFP internals you could get the AP and run cobbs stage 0 map which is their "simulated stock map" which is still a little spicer than stock. I can still find cobbs tunes on their website and nothing I have read states to the contrary.
