Has anyone had there crank pully bolt come lose and crank pully actually break when being pulled off? The middle broke off of the pulley.
Bought it used so the condition of the parts is unknown. I had it rebuilt and the crank pulley was the original one with 158,000 but who knows if it was ever fucked with. I knew it was an odd situation to see it broke like it did. Thanks.Is it a unraped block? Sometimes people will jam shit into the crank pully while loosening and tightening the crank bolt. I can see how that may stress the metal until it fucks off and crumbles.
