Hi guys, I got a cx7 2011 with 225kms(sorry Im live in Aus), the car run fine without any code, But its has so many noise coming out from the engine area, after changed the radiator abour a year ago, even noisier when in the winter. I have a video record the noise of it. The car actually have a very long history if u asked me. I just wonder does anyone be able to hear what making that the noise, the last time I've changed the valve cover gasket I've noticed the chain kind a loose, but Im not really sure because Im not turn the crank pulley to check it. also forgot to check the valve cover for any marks from the chains. I also noticed when in Drive the noise is more noticable than when in park. The car is stock btw, any help will do, thanks guys

Nope. Make sure you look for a giant spider or snake. I live in FL, so we do check for gators.

OEM only. Aftermarket is bad news. I know Corksport and EdgeAutosport both sell the OEM kit. They are Approved Vendors for the past 8 years here too.

Even the standard motor replacement from rockauto also bad? I live in Aus and the only way to get Oem part is from partsouq or amayama but the shipping take a very long time lol

Like sensors and coilpacks too. OEM is the way to go. Now a motor, avoid the JDM ones, those fail quickly. You should be able to sourse the timing kit at local dealerships.

Yep the coils and sensors always go with OEM, I might looking to buy the oem chain too. Today I drain the trans fluid and found a bit of coolant in it, is that big issue? The vehicle changed the radiator prior as well

Well that is not good. I am sure motorheads here can chime in

Could it be the oil cooler, I heard that some of the mazda oil cooler does have trans fluid and coolant run thru it, I noticed some leak near the cooler as well

That little bit could be from the radiator failing. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it yet, just monitor to make sure it's not the new radiator leaking

Should I do another trans fluid change? the radiator changed about a year ago, so maybe from the old one that leaking.

usually to change transmission fluid you drain and fill drive a few miles and then drain and fill again. not sure if the cx7 is the same

Hi guys, I want to ask for another thing...
Last time when I replace the engine mount near the timing chain, when I try to put it back it wont go back line up with the bolt, it stay very tight toward the cabin side, I have to ask another 2 person pull it back just barely line up with the bolt, eventually damage the thread and need to drill another thread with a new bolt. I dont know why it that, any input will really help, planning to do the chain so this really get me frustrated...

That happened to us installing a rear motor mount. Didn't damage the thread. Might be worth the money to get a mechanic to drill and tap it

Yep I already tap a new bolt on it, just dont know why its happen cuz Im preparing to do the chain, really dont want it happen again...

You will want to get an engine brace of sort. It happens.
