Damaged ecu

My speed 6 ecu isn’t sending the ground signal for the coil relay to run the in tank pump. I jumped the 2 big pins and it still keeps the factory functions. With key on engine off it primes for 2 seconds then shuts off. Then when I start cranking it turns on again and runs fine. Why can’t I just run a permanent jumper wire with 12 gauge wire and heavy duty spade terminals? I don’t want to replace the ecu if it’s just the one output.

Have you checked all the wiring and the relay for obvious issues. The relay itself can go bad
Yeah I swapped a working relay in and no change. Also the relay still clicks I can feel it. It just doesn’t send ground to the coil. If I crank it will send ground and run for about 15 seconds then stop sending ground and die. Unless it’s a cold start it will run until coolant temps warm up to about 160ish then die and continue to die every 15 seconds. In no situation will it prime for 2 seconds like it should. It’s extremely consistent
