Dear Diary, I broke my MS6

What's wrong with the ebay log? It's more even than the stock uneven crap. Has a built in ewg port. Spoolingupperformance on youtube made 700 with it. Short runners for better spool but will choke top end. Long tubular will lag more but better top end. Has to be built thick to not crack. If dude is making 700 with it what's the problem? :)

Show me where he was making 700 whp on it... I never saw any substantial evidence that he was making reliable power on it. His channel is very hit or miss on facts , it has gotten better but man it is boring so much talking so little doing. It would be great to see someone slap on the ebay cast manifold and an ebay turbo and make some jam and have logs available.
 
Lol 700. He never made power on the log mani. His ms6 spun bearings before it every hour turned up and his cousins ms3 never made much more than 600 before they sold it to a guy that lives by me

I bought it and will check later with a straightedge. I've used an ebay cast on my B-series and it didn't leak.
What's with all these dislikes? Are we against discussion and just a mob mentality? I was asking a genuine question and had references to back up my claims. Obviously a high dollar tubular equal length mani will be better no shit. I'm only considering the cast for the price and fact that others have used it. Here's another guy that used it it

Even still if there's no one with logs and stuff I'll be the first I guess. I'm going to use it no matter what. If for instance I make 50-100 hp less than with a good mani, so be it. It's mainly about the cost. Plus I can always upgrade down the road. 500hp will prob be plenty for the street anyways.

The manifold is also top mount which would necessitate a whole host of changes not required by either the cpe or corksport manifolds
 
Oh. I will be fabricating a downpipe as I have a mig and all that. Maybe I can start with something like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/3-V-Band-D...-bellow-pipe-stainless-w-O2-Bung/202980327426
I'll prob have to source a big intake or diy with couplers and bends. The dump tube I will use this https://www.ebay.com/itm/3-76mm-Exh...ng-Cutout-Downpipe-Dump-Pipe-Cap/162552882904
to reroute the dump back to the exhaust. Cause my Integra is open dump and all the fumes come into the cabin.
Also it seems it's hard now adays to get ahold of parts. Like CPE forever on backorder or w/e

for the record I can’t smell anything with with an open test pipe and floor dump. Just the normal occasional catless smell. E85 if I’m lucky (yummy)
 
Maybe I'll test it open dump but I want to keep it quiet also cause of cops. I was on full e85 at one point on my teg and the fumes still made me sick. I just want 0 fumes and medium vol exhaust.

Turbine housing is flanged with Garrett vband, but could be switched to a T3 turbine housing if I'm feeling desperate. Have a Tial 44mm wg in hand. I would cut the flange off a precision flanged CP-e manifold and get my own flange welded on if the opportunity arises.

the EWG placement looks a lil rough for my ms6, especially since I definitely want to run the EWG back into the downpipe... also, it's a long way away, and I'm already tired of this project.

Mine was a bitch cause it was stock flange EWG. Every single one of the issues related to the manifold itself would have been resolved with vband. Maybe even t3 but vband for sure. All my other issue were me being a retard lmao

You should start your own build thread and if you are so set on the ebay manifold you might as well run an ebay turbo too. Pulsar GTX3071R GEN II Ceramic Dual Ball Bearing Turbo Billet Compressor T3 0.82 A couple of people have ran this and it works really well and we have not seen any failures. It will work well for low to higher power levels as it is dual ball bearing and will light up pretty quick.

trust me we tried putting him on pulsar but he insisted on a 110 dollar China charger. I wasn’t opposed to him run either tho. Full eBay build would be an interesting thread
