Do you guys flush your clutch fluid?

I'll be running a service on my car soon. It will have 135k miles on it and is still on the original clutch fluid. I don't see anything in the owners manual about changing it. I don't have problems with it, but after close to 12 years and 135k miles I kind of feel like I should flush it out? What say you?

If you use something like a Motive Power Bleeder, it can take just over a half hour.

I made my own pneumatic power bleeder and it takes me just under a half hour.

Whichever way you do it, power bleeding is better than vacuum bleeding at getting bubbles out of brake lines. Also you should not power bleed or pressurize the brake system at anymore than 8-10psi, more than that and you will overpressurize the seals and create leaks in your brake system.

And make sure you keep the reservoir topped off or you’ll be flushing more than you want to. You’ll see a small hole for the clutch reservoir when you take the cap off. Keep the fluid above that hole.

I used a mitty vac pump. No problems

This would be a good time to upgrade your fluid to DOT4. It has a higher boiling point than DOT3 does.

ate typ 200 break fluid and yes I bleed my clutch whenever i bleed breaks
