DTA Axles and OEM

So my CV axles are starting to go out on my Gen2 2011 Mazdaspeed3.


I have been looking through these forums and got the recommendation to get DTA CV axles, so I went with it. I know the OEM Mazdaspeed3's cv axles are thick, but I was wondering if something was wrong with my new axles because they seem to be way thinner than the OEM ones. I have this picture for reference and I was just wondering if there was any input on this, thanks!

That’s just how they are, but hold up well as long as you don’t launch it all the time.

Shit I would have though those were for a standard 3. Must be way better metal than stock
