Are DTA axles still a suitable OEM replacement?

I came across this post, with some users vouching for them: https://mazdaspeeds.org/index.php?threads/dta-axles-and-slide-hammer-tools.4623/

Here's an example listing: https://www.ebay.com/itm/272734818918

My Gen1 is making stock power, I just need to replace mine that have dried up and the boots are shot. These are a whole lot cheaper than the OEM ones, but curious if it's still a feasible replacement today, or if there's anything else that I should consider. First time doing this - thanks all!

I have had DTA for years. Well known to hold up to 400 to 500. Get em.

I need to find my old post on them. Pretty sure I'm at least 80k miles on mine now.

Thanks Raider! I actually followed a lot of your advise as a lurker of the forums, so this isn't the first time you've helped me. Thank you for chipping in!

They're fine send it. Welcome to mso, you could have just asked in that thread you linked.

Thanks Awafrican! I appreciate it - I've had my MS3 for years but just only started being social about it. I wasn't entirely sure about the forum etiquette concerning the revival of old threads, so I wanted to play it safe and make my own thread. Thanks a lot!
