Mazdaspeed3 SSQV Blow Off Valve with HKS Direct Fit Adapter
Purchase Date: May 18, 2019

I ran this as the new valve on my built motor. I never really felt like it was causing issues and it passed about 10 boost leak test I had done over the course of 7 months with the fresh motor.
The Good:
If you want some bad ass bird calls and are never satisfied with leaving your car alone, try it out. It might be the valve for you. I will def miss the "call to rice" but I will not be going back as the car just drives much better now.
Bonus Material
@alexwlwsn had an actual legetimate HKS SSQV and he noticed similar issues so it seems to be a design flaw rather than an ebay knockoff flaw.

I ran this as the new valve on my built motor. I never really felt like it was causing issues and it passed about 10 boost leak test I had done over the course of 7 months with the fresh motor.
The Good:
- No Boost Leaks "as far as I could tell"
- Is loud and makes sweet sweet ricer bird calls so your friends know when it is time to do hood rat shit.
- Held 18 psi and no issues while logging
- Adapter fits great and o-ring seal nicely "Use a clamp to push it into the adapter to get the C-clip in"
- Wacky shit
- Part Throttle Boost it would open if I let off the gas a little and the car would bog
- Clutch in the revs drop slower "not sure why but that changed with the tial"
- Just not smooth, over all daily driving from stop and go to on and off throttle was boggy, I did not really think much of it until I switched to a 50mm tial style and the car is WAY smoother.
If you want some bad ass bird calls and are never satisfied with leaving your car alone, try it out. It might be the valve for you. I will def miss the "call to rice" but I will not be going back as the car just drives much better now.
