Hello! I am currently 2.5 turbo and mazdaspeed 3 trans swapping a 2011 3i and I need the ecu pinout for the ecu on a 2.0l mazda 3 a/t originally. I figured this was the best place to ask

I can help but I need some more information. What do you need the diagram for? Is it for the auto to manual swap?

Are you changing to a Speed 3 ECU? It won't run the port injection system on a regular 3 engine.

I am planning on running a FT550 Ecu and want the stock harness pinout for reference when wiring my new one

Why not run a Megasquirt 3Pro and get more features for less money? You can run DBW with it if you can the CAN adapter a separate company makes. It will also auto tune fuel tables, allow for a bunch of extra I/O if you want to run secondary injectors/meth injection/nitrous etc.

I would love to run a megasquirt ecu but from the prices I've seen it seems like with the DBW controller it'd end up being just as expensive, but if you've seen otherwise I'm all open to suggestions

You can either buy a DIY kit and assemble it yourself or buy a preassembled one. The DIY ones are cheaper but there are a ton of write ups on how to assemble it and upload the firmware to it.

There is also the benefit of SD Card data logging as well as Bluetooth functionality. I have my Android head unit running Shadow Dash so it displays all my gauges. The logging is setup so every key cycle it starts a new log. Anytime I have an issue I can go back and download the log to review data.

Comparing the difference in cost you're a couple hundred over with the DBW controller but you get a full standalone ECU with years of support behind it.

I never heard of the FT550 before so I can't give any pros or cons to using that. I just know what's worked for me and I have had experience with AEM, Haltech, Hondata, MS, and Cobb.

I appreciate the heads up and I'll for sure be looking a little deeper into the Megasquirt ecu stuff before i actually order one or the other for sure.
