Due to geoff bailing, I also won't be coming down. That's right it's all his fault.

I will still make sure knobs get down for the raffle. Anyone know who those need to get to? I don't remember off hand

Also, I'm going to cancel my room, does anyone want it?

Me for the knobs. Shoot me a pm when you get a chance. Thanks!

You guys should just fly down and rent a Prius.

I really want to come with my car, but driving the 8-9 hours alone would be no fun. Plus, I was actually skipping a family even with my wife to come down, so she isnt too upset about me skipping this.

There is a fall camp too right? If @HawkeyeGeoff and maybe @LynzeC (and any other nator MI people) are down, I would set up a trip.

I will send you the knobs as soon as I have them done. I will PM you shortly for your address as well.

Bummer :( but that's a long drive for sure

Fall camp should be sometime mid to late October.

8-9 hours by yourself, I wish. I'm looking at 15 hours from central Kansas. I'm tentatively planning on spending the night if the 20th in Nashville so my first day is only 9ish hours.

Tl;DR Ken is a long-distance driving vagina

Ouch. But Im getting to old for this road warrior business. And I dont trust my car to go that long by itself without some sort of support crew. Its a finicky bitch and hasnt been more than 3 hours from home in years.

I heard this brother. Cheers to way overly modified vehicles.

I have a metric ton of maintenance I need to do on my car before leaving, and I have no idea how I'm going to find time. May just drive it as is and park it for the weekend while I drink.

Pack the trunk with tools and parts.....and shift knobs.

I drove from Colorado to Illinois then back to Colorado in 2 1/2 days. That's a 14 hour trip one way. I also stopped in Iowa on my way out and helped put together the bottom end of Deldrans motor.

tapatalk, it sucks
