Ok guys its that time again! Epic Nator Meet!

This year's meet will again be at Tail of the Dragon w/ Mazda Dragon Camp. Feedback was that everyone had a blast last year so sticking with it agian this year. Turnout was great for the first year here. Everyone was very well behaved and Im sure the community will be happy to have us back. Plans for a can food drive should be in the works again as well.

This post will be updated with information as it becomes available. Get on the hype train and spread the word!

3PM: Arrival/Check in
5PM: Weenie Roast with MDC. Will be setting up "local beer" sampling during this. We had a great showing last time for the weenie roast !Friday night will be our rain-check for this.

**DDs WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT BACK TO THE HOTEL**
**CARPOOLING IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED**

Friday April 22
8AM and 10 AM will have group runs over the Skyway and Bald River Falls for individual photos of cars at the falls. Makes for a great drive, as well as great pics! The Cherohala Skyway, a National Scenic Byway

Then into groups and check out the dragon, Cherohala skyway and hellbender 28 to Fontana Dam!

Well once work quiets down, I'm going to take the intake off and have a good look at the turbo, but it's been noisy and seems slow to spool, so I think the bearing may be going. Thanks for the offer, depending on what I find, and how money is, I might hit you up.

I have yellows, stainless lines and ATE blue. Car stops. I don't use much brake on the Dragon, seen many people with glowing rotors not keeping up. @phate

 

We need Nathan on here with his brake pads that were on fire.

So much slow in front of me Had to keep from rearending them since they could only creep through corners. McPhail phail.

I might just get the 4 piston. EAS has then and they have great reviews.

If you don't get a true BBK, you aren't increasing thermal mass or surface area or brake torque (not that you need that). Good pads will go a long way. I use Valvoline synthetic brake fluid (blue bottle) you can pick up at parts stores. I haven't found a need for anything more than that, I've never boiled fluid at the dragon, autocross, or on track.

We've shown over 1.3 g decel, btw

 

So I did a thing today hopefully they arrive before the dragon. About 6 weeks out

No single queen rooms left.. Only suites which I just booked one... Not sure if there's any of those left

 

I booked the handicapped suite last night and the woman at the front desk said we're probably going to be the only people in the hotel and there were 4 Queen suites left after I booked. Just an FYI. It think it was 78 a night for the suites.

This year you don't have to worry about bothering other guests like last year. Maybe they will give you the conference room again for baggo/cornhole and drinking?
