ENM @ MDC 3! April 27-30, 2017

Whos already getting ready for ENM@MDC 3' I started today because I will not be missing next years lol

I talked to a friend that lives on the TN side and is a Volunteer FF helping with the efforts. According to him they are beating it and should be out within the month. he said the worst of it has been taken care of its just the flare ups and how far it spread that's been keeping them on the clock.

I have a group of people that are interested in coming along with me to this one if it happens.

That sucks. The locals did mention to us while we were down there that they've had drought issues, which is surely fueling the situation.

 

Well now is planning time and we will get this going. I think the NC/TN location helps because of the location. But that's me. I think if we nail the location and maybe schedule group cruises, it could be fun. There is a rumor of a pig roast too.

 

If everything goes well and I don't get sent back home (Read: Deported), I'll most likely be there. Maybe I can carpool with @KingScumbag

Local news is saying the smoke may make it to Jax, FL this week.

 

Welp, I am always down for another ENM in NC, however with the wife being prego and the due date being the end of April, it will depend on when ENM will be, will determine whether i can go or not. I make a motion to have it in May or June, so that i have a better change of making it, all in favor say EYE.....EYE....motion passed. Well, it looks like i might be joining, hahaha.

 

I would be good with it being a touch later, but we don't want to land on the same weekend as some monster sized group.

The last two years have coincided with Mazda Dragon Camp. I'd want to lean toward what allows the most people to attend but it would be unfortunate to split off from that group.

I am always for doing it in a time frame that allows the most people. I am sure the last two years people had to miss because it was conflicting with something else. so if it happens the at the end of April, so be it.

If anything, you guys should be happy if i cant make it so that other people can win at the raffle, hahaha

I will stop off at the store in Robbinsville and pick some up on my way back home.

 

4th weekend in April.

wish it would be the 3rd weekend since I am off that weekend from work and would not have to use personal days

I hope to finally throw my sausage into the fest next year.
