Hi guys,
I bought a brand new 2007 MS3 as my first car back in.. 2007 and have been loving it ever since! I'm not much into tuning but I try to take care of it and am currently sitting at about 210K. I used @Raider 's "How to clean your EGR" post about 10 years ago to fix rough starting (after throwing more money than I care to admit to the local dealer to sort out the issue, having them fail to do so, and being shocked a $10 can of carb cleaner and a few hrs of my time could fix it) and I was stoked to find the instructions are still up on these forums. Big shout-out to Raider for responding to my email and getting my account unlocked (as it had expired due to inactivity) so I could clean that EGR again and get it starting smoothly.
Latest minor issue I'm sorting out is a broken rubber mount for the Mazdaspeed OEM CAI I put in long ago. Might switch to a Corksport SRI as I also had a bit of a scare with some deep water recently and it seems that would get two birds stoned at once.
