Gen 2 Fuel sender corrosion from ethanol

Don't want to jinx myself, but the Yaris sensor is still holding up! @drew10101010 how did you even know about this sensor as a possibility?
I just searched around for fuel senders and came across it. I looked at it closely and saw that the shape was very similar and the price was low so I figured to try it. And plus Amazon has great returns. You also helped push me to find it as I was about to go with the whole Delphi replacement. So thanks for that!
Damn what happened? Pics? Maybe plugging it in causes a chem reaction? Or something in your tank, or 93 mix..Mine is still perfect..I'll add some gas to it. And maybe hook up a small battery to it or something.
