Ok, there is a recall/TSB/warranty extension deal in the pipeline for GenPu dash separation, 2010-2013. It is coming. 1 (800) 222-5500 is Mazda corporate. You can call them to get the ball rolling on the replacement now, or go to your dealer, and they can send pics to corporate to get a good will replacement request in. If it is under warranty (extended, etc) then it is replaceable.

Am I the only one that's had zero issues with this problem in my '12 tech? My mom's 2010 2.0 Mazda3 has also had no problems.

I would think common sense would say that folks who have their vehicle parked outdoors and aren't garaged, or are in warmer climates with lots of sun would see this issue happening more frequently. I own an 11 MS3 purchased new and the car has never been a daily and garaged it's entire life. Im a little over 18k on the clock and have had zero dash separation. I believe heat would be the major cause of the plastic warping and deforming.

No problem so far *fingers crossed* here in the rainy northwest, also garage kept so im probably not a likely victim of this.

Here in hot as balls Florida it's common. My 2012 has unfortunately spent almost all its life parked outdoors. The seperation is bigger than Madonna's front tooth gap.

I'll be calling mazda soon about mine.

I want to get it fixed before that Tom Bush Semen Sealant gets done.

Just call Howard and come give me hugs.

I'll bring you a costco hot dog too.

Uh, not sure of real Costco dog or penis.

Both will be warm and available

They extended the year range? I was actually one of the 6 or so folks involved in the class-action lawsuit that got this TSB pushed through :)

1-800-222-5500 ext.1176. The guy at that extension is a huge help. I had my dash done like 2 years ago, dealer tried to charge me $300 for labor lol ya right!
[doublepost=1478613440][/doublepost]Lexus has the same dash issues

No problems so far. I park in a garage at work, but outside at home. And it gets pretty warm in Atlanta. Fingers crossed.

No problems here on my 2013. Night garaged, and generally the majority of days in a parking structure so minimal sun-loading. And this isn't exactly the state with moar hot.

Consider yourself lucky if you don't have this issue.

For the record, the airbag slit on the passenger dash is fine. It's slightly visible but NFG since it's not breaking.
