Ok, making a separate thread. Will elaborate more, but looking at making a bracket that was cad designed by our @Maisonvi for @Redline.

This is a setup that fixes the current option being sold that is flimsy and does not really work at all.

In like Flynn, for sure - 110%. Reminder: I only need brackets - no latches/hardware/etc. Hopefully we can get the price/pair of brackets down with lots of participants. I think so, based on the figures @Maisonvi gave me

Yeah I will have a drop down as I have a bunch who will not need the fenderwell option, either. I may just work out a deal with you. I just need people to come on board.

Bracket rate for 10 committed buyers is $100 for a pair shipped, with the latch hardware available depending on needs. Some need the upper area, some need both or did the lower area. Once we have close to 10, I'll open it up for 30 days.

@Dub-S2K met with Quik Latch and got it resolved without a bracket. No issues with the bumper dimpling so I emailed Brian at Quik Latch to get more info. I hope to get this released ASAP as a cheaper option and get everyone fixed!

 

Looks like Dub used a small latch instead of the larger ones you and Faeker used for the other location. May want to make sure everyone is on the same page about the same size/room for fitment in this regard.

Anyways, I still need the bracket. Dub's fix won't address my problem, so I'm hoping people are still in for this as an alternative for its virtues, including a lot a latch-mount-location flexibility.

 

Anyone can drill the hole out and order the small latch and longer 1/4 20 pin that is 4" long and make that work direct from Quiklatch.com

I cannot recommend it personally as a RaiderFab item because it's not what I would say "perfect".

I'm back on with the group buy for he brackets as they are a better solution, it's just going to be more money. Now if we get 20+ signed up, we can look for a lower cost. So share the group buy link all over the place.

OK well, screw it, I guess I'm in..if this will serve the purpose of getting these Quik Latch Minis installed properly.

 

It will. Other options of a straight pin left a dimple in the bumper. The bracket eliminates that by placing the latch in a better position.
