Hello all!
Been a member since 2018 which is when I bought my 2008 Speed3. Want to thank the many members that have posted a lot of useful info to help me through maintenance and repairs as well as (sometimes) entertaining comments.
I’ve fixed quite a few things that weren’t right when I purchased the beast and the biggest day under the car previously was redoing the front sway bushings and front brakes. Now I’m deeper into the engine bay as I’ve got a sudden onset of valve cover noise and 1 maybe 2 leaky injectors. Wee! Luckily it didn’t happen on the 1600 mile trip from Phoenix to San Jose back through Santa Cruz and Malibu. Handled that trip with enthusiasm and of course speed.
Thanks again. Will be weighing in on the current project. Maybe try to find someone one in the Phoenix area to pick their brain and experience.
