Hopefully someone can help me here, I got a p2004 variable tumble control system shutter valve stuck open, my question is does the fix on this old thread from vanquish will solve this problem?

i read of dirty intake manifold, bad wiring connection and also a friend told me that it could be the solenoid. Any light of what could possibly be? this procedure was posted for code p2006 but don’t know if it does apply.
Intake manifold was uninstalled and cleaned a year and a half ago. My car has catch can and until a few weeks back it had egr delete so intake manifold being dirty is out of the equation. Thanks in advance for any help.
