HELP needed....My Speed6 not starting

Good day to all. I have a Mazdaspeed6 which battery went dead. I changed it and three days later it would not start. Since it was the only working vehicle, I would push start it. Two days later I took it to a mechanic and they found that the switch for the clutch was bad. I ordered a new one, Shop installed it, car now starts. Just when the Shop called me to come pick my car up, they are telling my that it won't start and it looks like the Immobilizer is active. The remote is locking and unlocking the car, but it just won't start. I took the Key out of the Credit card size remote turn it to the on position then try starting it..nothing..but the immobilizer started flashing. I took the Key to Lock and Unlock the driver side door of the car then try to start it again....NOTHING.......Can anyone help with my issue?
 
Unfortunately you need to tow it to the dealership
 
That would be my next issue. I don't trust my local Mazda dealership. Who would you recommend, on the East coast, that can look at a modded Mazdaspeed 6?.... I actually bought my car from Jim Ellis Mazda in Atlanta many moons ago
 
Heritage Mazda in timonium md but that doesn't really help you
 
I have seen these issues on mazdaspeed3s and Mazda 3.

On my Mazda 3 I have had the main relay contacts go bad. The immobilizer light would blink. The solution was to clean the main relay contacts.

On the speed3, there was a fuse in the PJB that would blow due to a shorting coil harness. As it turned out, that ignition fuse shared circuits with immobilizer function. If you haven't checked for blown fuses yet, that is free and relatively easy to do.
 
I dont know if you have fixed this issue, but this is how I had to get mine fixed.

My car a shit on me literally the day after I did my timing chain, tried to go to lunch went over a speed bump car shuts off.
I got nothing but the immobilizer light flashing, tried push start, no dice.
my accessport also would not connect to the ECU.

Had took it to mazda, then I proceeded to have them diag, ecu took a giant dump.

They proceeded to give me the part number for the things I needed.
as I wanted to track them down myself.

The ECU and keys are specific to our cars. These numbers have to match the car. Mazda CAN give you this info, how forthcoming with info they will be is up to them.

I ended up buying the ecu through mazda because warranty.
I tracked down a second card key and corresponding blank physical key myself using the part numbers they gave me.

You have to have 2 keys to program the car. And mazda pretty much has to reprogram everything for you.
After that everything should be normal.
