Hello all,
Hopefully this is the right thread.
I'm about to do the fuel pump Autotech internals and e85 safe rebuild. I'm curious as to if anyone knows where to get a replacement spring for the hpfp ? I know CS sells a kit with one, but Graveyard had a better deal with the Autotech internals and seal kit. My car just ticked 150k so I may not need a new spring at all. Its just one of those things that if I can get a new replacement while I'm right there, id like to do that.
Thanks for any information.

You can't get just a new spring have to buy a new unit. None of the kits come with a new spring. If your spring is dead you need a new housing but you can re use the spring when upgrading the piston no problem

Cool beans. I didn't think you could get another one, seeing as Mazda doesn't have a P# for it, but I just thought id ask.
How would I tell if the spring is dead ? Would that be something I'd have to check with the AP ?

It would probably have a crack in it, or be broken. I don't recall ever hearing of a spring failure not something I'd worry about past checking for visible damage.
