Another DFW guy! I should be more active in our local meets, but marriage/fatherhood/full-time grad school keeps me busy.

Thanks! Yep, I'm pretty much at the point that the next level is to forge the motor. There's not much I haven't touched on the car at this point, LOL.

I'm not on FB. You on DFWMazdas?

I was for a bit, but the Facebook group was more convenient lol. I don't even remember my Info. I might go over and make one again tho.

Did you get her for a good price? I'm curious.

Actually I was very pleased with the price. It was listed for 12.5, after TTL it was 13 with some change. The day I came to pick it up they put brand new pirellis on it, free window tint, and a free detail. Now I know most dealers do bad with detailing, but when I got the car home under an inspection light I had VERY minimal swirls. The PO had a detailer as a friend so it was basically in mint condition. Pair that with the VVT repair that I got 2 weeks later under the 60 day AutoNation warranty. So essentially just over 2 grand of "free" items along with the purchase. I was very pleased.

I think that was fair, specially with the VVT fix. Damn that is an expensive job.

Great score. I had that color when I bought it new in 2007. She was a good car till it was totalled in 2011. picplz 08 October 2010 18.46.59.jpg
