If you have upgraded your clutch or are thinking about upgrading your clutch this post is a must read!
Ok so if you have upgraded your clutch it really is a good idea to go check your clutch pedal and make sure that its not cracking. I recommend taking the whole clutch pedal assembly out so you can inspect the whole thing. I just did some major repairs to my MS6 (replace clutch disk, master/slave cylinders etc etc). I built up a good amount of pressure but still couldn't get my car to move. So i decided to poke around on the internet and i found a thread on MSF that was from like 2011 about cracked pedals and decided to go check mine out and well i found not one, not two, but at least 7 different cracks all over the assembly. I'm posting the pics so you guys can check yours and have a few ideas where to check, and why i recommend taking it off because i didn't know i had a major break at the top. This is not only a safety concern but this is also a good thing to check before you end up like i did with hours and weeks of frustration!
In the posting i had found also mentioned that a few stock clutches caused the cracks also so its just a good idea to check anyways. Also if you have heard any odd clicking or popping sounds from inside the car get down there and check!
I'm gonna be welding all the cracks back together and i'm gonna weld bracing to all those areas and other areas i believe is going to crack so i will post up the results once its done! Also i didn't know where to post this so i put in general because its more of a safety thing then a howto, if a mod sticky this that would be cool to because it will help a lot of people out in the long run. I'm posting this in both MS6 and MS3 areas, tho I've only heard of this issue being in MS6's.
