Good morning folks, I originally became a member here back in March of 2010 when I was 19 and bought an 08 Mazdaspeed3. My SN was BigBurd too back then but I couldnt get my old account pulled up.
I had sold the genwon ms3 in 2016 for a brand new mazda3 2.0 (6 speed manual though). It's now at almost 160k miles and I've been looking at newish WRX's ready to replace it. However in the midst of this, I've stumbled upon several speed3's and am thinking about jumping on another GenWon with 101k miles for 9500. Anywho, I'm going to try and go look at it today and try and give them 8500, but I really want one again and might give them asking if its clean. The one thing keeping me from pulling the trigger is parts availability, is there still pretty solid support? Would love rebuild a motor and have a cornfed 400ish genjuan.
Tl;DR Brownie here, where did Haltech go? PhillyB ever come back? What about Rodrigo or the Finkle? I still see Raider and Easter Bunny and a few other familiar faces. Back when I was on the forum I was 19 and a noob, and you guys tolerated my antics and taught me a lot. Since then I've worked as a machinist for 10 some odd years and want to attack a speed3 project again but this time with a head on my shoulders.
