June/July 2025 METAL MEMBER Raffle! MSO Vendor $100 Cert!

I'm so sorry for the lack of Raffles. Those who know me, know I have had a lot of personal things going on. From surgeries to now moving 1000 miles away from Florida.

So since I'll be moving the time of the raffle draw if it was monthly, I'll do this one through June and July. NO MINIMUM POSTS REQUIRED!

$100 Gift Certificate to the MSO Vendor of their choice!!! Take your pick!

Moved? where to? and good luck with the recovery

The humidity here should be illegal. NW OH is like 73 and 73 heat index. Of course when there is a 1 in the beginning of the temperature, I'll be saying I don't have hurricanes or desantis.

are hurricanes really that big of a concern in jacksonville? ironically the number of months you can enjoy outside is pretty similar between Ohio and Florida, just shifted to opposite seasons.

Hurricane season is roughly 6 mons long. It's not the quantity of storms, but how devastating the few storms are. They bring rain, coastal flooding, and let's not forget countless tornadoes.

The last few years, hurricanes have been hitting N and W FL with a vengeance.

I've never experienced a blizzard before, but at least your house is still standing once the snow finally clears.

A blizzard is an inconvenience if you are able to keep your heat running and your roof doesn't collapse

At our old house we had a plastic shed (never again) and I would have to knock snow off of it before it got to a foot or it would start to bow

Oddly enough I feel like blizzards are worse the further south you go since the municipalities are as well equipped to handle it. Three feet of snow in Wisconsin going to work tomorrow three feet of snow in Maryland hopefully we will see you next week
