Kits to play music from USB Thumb drive for MS6?

Been a while, but getting my old MS6 back. I had an iPod adapter in there when I had it before, but I would like to find an adapter kit that will let me play music from a USB thumb drive & control it through the steering wheel buttons & head unit buttons as if it were factory. Does such a kit exist?
 
Nope. Aftermarket time.
 
I think a lot of people buy Eonon to replace the stock head unit. AFAIK, they have the functions you're looking for.
 
You're gonna need a new head unit that has usb functionality, and an interface to function with SWC.
 
If you're pulling the headunit to add the grom usb usb may as well just upgrade it imo (budget depending)
 
As you can see from my sig, I have enough cars & projects lol. The simpler & easier the better here. Not replacing the HU
 
Why not just do an Aux mod with a bluetooth adapter? I made my own aux mod (there's a how-to on this site somewhere), and then bought a Kinivo BTC455 to plug into it. Works a treat, but you have to use your phone/ipod/etc. to control the playlist.
