Launch clunk

2006 ms6 always had a slight vibration on accel in 1-3 kinda like really bad rotors but when I’m accelerating not braking. The real issue is when I launch the car I get an awful clunking noise. Any ideas? Sounds like it’s coming from the passenger side or slightly to the left of the shifter.

Just as raider said my first thought is motor mounts, in particular the passenger and rear motor mounts. However with slightly left of the shifter could also be the transmission motor mount.

I don't have a ms6 but I wonder if the rear diff mount going could cause that issue in terms of transference back to the engine, I mention this because I know the stock rear diff mounts are prone to failure.

Sorry I meant right on the shifter I’ll check everything out this weekend.
Hey man, have you resolved the issue? I got brand new reinforced rear diff mounts and the issue still persists. All i can see is that my trans mount is a bit sketchy.

He's not been on here for 5 years. I would check all motor and replace the trabs mount
