I see you and raise you. I love em so much here I sell the dang brand now. I see a marketing guy all the time and try to promote the boost, etc. And that started in February this year, and look, turbo 6. Cut me some slack lol.

Ya know, I wanted to stop by and say hi last week. Unfortunately, some dipshit in Atlanta thought I needed to stay there until after 9pm. Originally, i was to be at JAX by 4pm. Was going to drive by the dealer and surprise you. Maybe next time.
 
I’m not gonna come in all “holy” and stuff, but I have asked why the dick jokes and dildos are such a part of the “culture” of Mazdaspeed. Now I am starting to understand, though I still find it unsavory. Apparently so does Mazda corporate. I guess I wonder if it is worth it. I know this incarnation of the Speeds forums is more civilized, but how much more? You are all kinder here than the other place, where I also “bought in” without realizing what I was getting into. I just find the whole thing kinda unnessary and distracting. Can’t we just stick to Mazdaspeed and leave the other boy stuff on another forum where we aren’t boycotted by the very people that could make the Mazdaspeed thing a continuing reality? I’m not that tied into this community, though I have learned a lot from y’all and it is making my Gen2 a really fun car!

I’m not saying that you guys, or anyone else here, is the proximate cause of the demise of the Mazdaspeed program at Mazda. It is about communication and longevity, and adulthood. Just sayin’.

They don't see the need as they're maturing other product lines. Maybe they're working on a Halo RX9. That costs money. They're a smaller manufacturer so until the $$$ stabilizes I wouldn't expect to see a Speed anytime soon. Or they do like they did in the last speeds and share a motor across product lines, like a 2.5 turbo 4 in the CX9, and doll up a chassis for fun.
