Littleloogy's ADD & Has a Build Diary

Interesting. I would usually just ask if he had a part and drove there for pickup. He did ask me to send PayPal as a gift once. No bueno.

He has asked me to pay as a gift too. He claimed that it was because of the PayPal fees. So I added a few dollars and paid for good/services. This was for the engine harness, which was extremely weathered and corroded btw. Should have returned it for a refund but I made it work.

So I finally got around to pulling the lowing springs off. The car sits so much better now. Also put back on my fender liner that ripped out when I was seating the rings. Lol might need a new one.

When I was doing the rears I noticed an end link was loose. When I went to tighten it I realized all the threads were GONE. I wonder how long this was like this. Looks like I'm buying even more parts. $$$

You win the fail mobile of the year award.

crapatalk it sucks for free

a mazdaspeed; some assembly required.

I seemed to have got the short end of the stick with this one. At least when I'm done it will be pretty much brand new. Since it seams everything will pretty much be replaced on it anyways.

So I did order a few things
Edge order:
One rear end link
New belt
OEM exhaust donut
2 new axle nuts

Tasca Parts:
2 OEM second cat exhaust hangers.

I found a knuckle on EBay with the bearing for cheap, but it looks like it's in rough shape. I think I am going to end up buying new and get a new bearing pressed in and a new OEM hub. A new knuckle is $200 shipped from Tasca, I can't find them anywhere else cheaper.

So I have decided to go with 17" wheels, not sure what I am actually going to go with yet. Here is a list of different OEM wheels that have the 5x113.4 with 67.1 bore. http://www.wheelfitment.eu/PCD/5x114.3/67.1/

I got cheapo ebay 17x9's that work great. 38 offset meant I did not have to use any spacers. I did have to roll and pull the rear on the gen juan. I got mine for 250$ shipped which was insane and idk why they were so low.

These are all great suggestions. Thank you for the input. I have never had the opportunity to pick out wheels before. Normally I just leave things like this alone, but the wife pretty much said she won't drive it, let alone ride in it with gold wheels.

My goal is to get as much ground clearance as possible with these wheels/tires, and also as much sidewall as I can get away with to help with road noise. I don't need anything crazy wide, for DD purposes.
I was thinking about these,

Edit: They are MX5 wheels. 17x7 if I'm not mistaken.
