Locked out of 2nd gear while downshifting

Alright guys, so after researching on this forum. Everyone recommended Tribodyn fluid, so I ordered 3 qts of the 75w-90 and did the change on my transmission, t case, and did the limited slip version for the rear diff. After about 300 miles or so, I can no longer downshift into 2nd gear while moving/revs. I have to wait for the engine to drop to idle with the clutch in before it will let me into 2nd gear.

Has anyone had issues with Tribodyn before? I had ZERO issues before the fluid swap. I'm assuming my symptoms are that my 2nd gear synchro is now bad.. which is quite frustrating.

Any thoughts for other things to check? Am I screwed now or can swapping to a different fluid get my synchros working again?

Thanks in advance for any help

I would occasionally have difficulty downshifting into second. What I would do would be to move the shifter back towards third, and then back into second and it would usually work. But then one day, it wouldn't go into any gear even after I pulled over and stopped moving, until I shut off the engine. It was suggested to me it could be a clutch slave cylinder going out. I figured it wasn't too expensive, might as well replace it. My fluid wasn't very old but I figured I might as well replace it again. I've been using Redline for a while, no change in fluid brand. While I personally am not sold on this Tribodyn stuff, my guess is the fluid isn't your problem. But, just my guess.

2nd gear popping out and then becoming unhappy means it is close to trans swap time.

Neither of us reported popping out of gear. We reported being locked out of putting it in gear. I changed my slave cylinder and changed the fluid and it hasn't happened to me since then. But, I haven't driven it a lot since then though.
