Never would have thought of that, but you're probably right if they assemble from rear to front.Sometimes stuff like that is for manufacturing like it's easier to hang the do on one stud then rotate it to line up with the rest than to support the weight while trying to line all of them up. If it saves 30 seconds on the assembly line it's worth the extra length of stud
